It's nice that a podcast I enjoy listening to asked me to create a logo for them. After hearing the story behind the name I thought it sounded like something you might cut out of a stencil by hand and spray on a wall so that's what the inspiration was for this hand-lettered type.

I know that the owner of this new toy company loves tattoos so one of the options I showed him in the first round of proofs was based on a traditional tattoo style but with a childlike twist. He chose it and I refined that option for this finished logo.

Icons are a good way to break up information in an appealing way. The challenge is in creating a style that can be carried throughout.

I illustrated this overloaded Christmas Tree for a product pitch. The advent calendar would include different editable treats behind the doors that looked like the characters I illustrated. I did not design the Foodie Surprise logo.

I developed this skull version of the Pokinatcha Punk years ago to propose to MxPx as a shirt design. They declined so I kept it and then some time later I found it in my archives and decided to make it available for sale myself. I feel okay about this because it doesn't look exactly like the PxPx and it was never used by the band. You can buy it here.

A fan of MxPx and collectable vinyl asked me to create a one of a kind test pressing cover for a repressing of an album that I had designed the cover for back in 1994. I was happy to do this mixed media piece for him.
This is a place for the pieces that are old and therefore I probably should remove from my site but I just can’t bear to do it.
I compiled many photos and my custom lettering to make this image that was used on posters, flyers and a large banner as well as other promotional items.
